Tarkwa Bay Beach Mini-Capsule

In January, 2020 the Nigerian Navy destroyed the beachside surfing community of Tarkwa Bay in Lagos, Nigeria, evicting its residents and tearing down their homes because they allegedly interfered with oil pipelines. Many believe the military simply wants to seize this community’s valuable land. Most of the families are homeless and have left the island, but the kids from the local surf club have decided to stay. Pigeon Worldwide designed its no wahala mini surf capsule to honor and benefit this special community in need.
